Format: Circular Start: Arrifana fort End: Arrifana fort Duration: 1h30 Distance:5.6km Difficulty: medium A tour that starts at the ruins of the Arrifana fort where we will take the opportunity to talk about the rich history of Aljezur and its legends Leaving the fort behind, we set out to discover one of the best preserved coasts in Europe, the Costa Vicentina, which, given its Mediterranean climate, offers a rich flora and fauna which we will talk about along the way, a path that can sometimes be quite challenging as we will pass along the cliffs, some of which are more than 100 meters high! To soothe the heart, we make our way back through the Portuguese countryside that reminds us how our great-grandparents lived in a world without running water or electricity, living off pasture and agriculture.
